Update

So yeah, I haven't given a real post in a very long time (except the pix the other day). I have been extremely busy, and nothing is really different right now. I'm in a rush to get things sent up for the summer, plus trying to stay in touch with folks and have a shitload of fun at the same time. If only I had someone to share it all with. . .

The phone is broke! Dont try to call or text it, it wont answer... I'm in a rush right now to get that corrected too. I still have to get vzw to switch the account to my name, so I can do such things as have the phone changed. Here's what I plan (as of right now) to replace it with. (my mind changes like the wind. don't count on it.)

I bought a new camera last Saturday. There's gonna be a lot more where the pictures are coming from. I took a quarter of a gig in pix already, here are the various links.

Keep your eyes open, I'll try to provide a show.

Biscuit is European for Cookie

The decisions are the hardest part

The battle of what's good for me, versus what I want. I have way too much time before graduation for me to have to make life guiding and altering decisions like what are being forced on me now. Why do I have to choose between the city I love and a (basically) sure thing in a region I'd have to train to love? Damnit, Damnit, Damnit.

Choose between low real estate, awesome food, the lake and skyline in the best city in the world, versus a garenteed job for forty years and a (chance!) to end up back to DC. Between open roads and low congestion versus a piece of cake job, boredom, a 401K, and a pension. Government versus private.. Money versus security.. DONT NOBODY GOT NO ANSWERS FOR ME?!

Fulbright Scholarship

Big ups to Chicagoland. Full story here.

Full Schedule

No, I'm not a late adopter. I was on top of this about two hours after it was made public. Just that I haven't got around to doing this yet. This is close to what the full usability of Google Calendar was meant for. Multiple subscriptions, multiple personal calendars, reminders, being able to switch back and forward between views, its pretty sweet.

For local events, like stuff in certain metros, hit up upcoming.org where they have webcal subscriptions set up for all their metro areas. Also, all of Mac's iCal websites are good because they provide for an assortment of other stuff, all in the same open formats.

About the 'Now playing..' album, yeah, its not up to par with my usual, meaningful taste, but its the new M.O.B.B. (on a new label) and I had to see what it's about. Sorry. Track two, four, and nine are pretty nice and I haven't even heard the whole thing yet.
